REVIEW: Everybody Deserves a HUG

I tried this book out on my five year-old granddaughter and she loved it. She kept turning back the pages, as we read, so she could see the colorful characters. They looked like trolls to her and kids seem to like those these days.

FROM THE PUBLISHER: Everybody Deserves a Hug delivers a timeless, universal message in a rhyming children's picture book. In the tradition of Dr. Seuss, the award-winning author, Doug Snelson, embraces love, kindness, inclusion and understanding just when the world needs it most. Doug collaborated with his illustrator/designer daughter, Renée, who created the colorful, whimsical characters exuding sweetness, joy, and hope. The engaging rhyming couplets amplify the vivid and striking color illustrations that will undoubtedly delight children, parents, and grandparents. This 8x10, 32-page picture book is an excellent teaching tool for primary school grades. Children's reading skills improve from repetitive rhyming patterns and phrasing.
